The Department of Chemical Engineering at the University of Florida hired me to build a marketing plan to increase visibility. Newsletters were a crucial addition to my plan because they are not only the perfect way to keep everyone abreast of happenings, they get faculty and students excited about showing their work and being featured.
As a result of the production of these print and digital newsletters, the department’s US News and World Report ranking jumped up 5 places to #26 from #31 in one year, and the ranking among public universities moved to #16, up from #18 the previous year.
